Bomber Soccer Program Overview

Boys Soccer at Richland High School has been a MAJOR sport for over 20 years.

The 2009 Season is here.  Our Schedule is very hard and our competition is fierce.

The CBL is one of the most competitive and respected conferences in the State of Washington.

High School soccer puts the game in a different level.  Over the years we proved to ourselves and others that Richland High School has a Top Flight soccer Program.

This year we want more.  We have the Ultimate Goal in our Sight.  It’s all about hard work and Team.

Coach’s PHILOSOPHY and EXPECTATIONS on the Game itself.

High School Soccer is a Competitive Sport.  I requires, Skill, Athleticism, a Mind set to be the best you can be and the Will to WIN!.

Once you embrace the GAME, it will stay with you for life.  The wins and losses that occur in the Quadrilateral called the Soccer field compares to what happens throughout our lives.

It’s simple education via the sport of Soccer.

That is why more than half of this Planets population embraces the sport with total Passion.

·         COMMITMENT and ATTITUDE are #1.

·         WE ARE AS SUCCESSFUL AS WE CHOOSE TO BE.

·         LEADERS ARE THOSE WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO FOLLOW.

·         HARD WORK PAYS-OFF.

·         Practice and Play Hard or go Home!

·         BUILDING a STRONG TEAM IS OUR #1 OBJECTIVE.

·         RESPECT ALL, FEAR NONE!

? Coaches View:       HOW I SEE THE GAME CALLED SOCCER

SOME DIFFERENCES:

1.            I Spell soccer as "FUTEBOL."

2.            “I’s” don’t fit on TEAM.

3.            Good players don't have to be big or tall to play Futebol.

4.            Good players don't have to be any magical age (they can be Seniors or Freshman).

5.            We attempt to play a "control game."

6.        Our training will be focused on playing as a TEAM. We conduct Team Training and stay away    from sessions and drills.
